Market Style CSA

  • Do you love the idea of supporting your local farmer, but just don’t love the idea of a pre-made share?
  • Do you travel often during the summer months and can’t commit to a weekly pickup?
  • Do you love frequently stopping by farmers markets and farm stands to see what’s new and exciting?

If so, the Ghost Fawn Market Style CSA share is just for you!

Like the Classic CSA, you support your local farmer by paying for the season upfront.  But unlike the Classic share, which provides a weekly box of pre-selected produce, the Market Style CSA allows you the flexibility of choice and frequency.

Each Market Member is issued punch cards for June, July, August, and September.  You then use the current month’s punch card at the Ghost Fawn Farm Stand to select the type and amount of produce  your family craves.

The Market Share allows for total flexibility in frequency and amount.  Don’t like kale?  You don’t have to take any!  Often gone during summer weekends and hate having veggies wilt in the fridge? Tailor your pickup times to your schedule! Did the kids eat all the green beans before you could even grab a taste? Come by as many times as you want to get more!

Your punch card credits can only be used in the month they’re assigned.  This way, the farm is able to balance supply with the flexibility offered by the market style share.

Members will be able to use the current month’s punch card at any time during Farm Stand hours, on any available produce. There will be no fixed items or item limitations.  The market style CSA share is totally customizable based on your family’s needs.

Farm Stand hours are Thursday-Saturday, 8am-7pm and Sundays, 12-4pm. CSA customers can arrange alternate times if unable to make listed Stand hours.

Market Style CSA shares are $500 for 16 weeks of beyond organic, locally grown fruits and veggies, starting in mid-June.

All CSA members will be issued an additional $40 punch card, to be used at any time during Farm Stand season. This card is given in recognition of the commitment to and acknowledgment of the shared risks the farmers and members take on in a CSA season. Give the card away to a friend, or keep it for yourself, it’s our way of saying thank you for supporting your local farmer!
